Doodles are great masterpieces that just need gallery representation...
So yeah...typical day...
dealt with the
snide and the gruff
and those that choose
to ignore with disdain
and impatience...
and so it happened,
as moments tend to do,
that I could not remember Gauguin...
which isn't a great travesty really...
well, actually to me it's rather tragic...
but I'm like that when
it comes to that sort of thing...
anyway,
upon consulting with Crane Boy
I remembered the master sculptor's name...
and to both Crane Boy's
and my delight,
a conversation about art ensued...
a conversation that had us two
throwing and hurling,
tossing and lobbing,
inserting and interjecting,
et cetera, et cetera, et cetera...
those we most admire
from the past
six
hundred
years
or so...
De Kooning and Haring...
Basquiat...Cezanne...
Seurat and Botticelli...
Pollock...Rubens...Kahlo...
and good 'ol Magritte...
and at that moment
I realized what good
fortune I had
to revel and glory
in such good company...
so yeah...typical day...
