The philosophers are not dead, they're just working in another trade...

As Craneboy and I were once again
off on some oratorical adventure,
we came across the topic of Carpe Diem
and how it must be employed by all
who truly wish to live a fulfilling life.

Upon expounding on this little tidbit, Craneboy uttered the most profound and complete sentence which encompasses the whole idea...

"Now is the time to do it. This isn't a rehearsal, you know."

pheeeeeeeeeeeeeeew...

That utterance was the proverbial uppercut and boy oh boy, did it leave me reeling.

Immediately I was lost in an eddy of rising thoughts and foamy ideas, swirling around and around in the depths of inspiration.

I thought to myself "Self...you're onto something here.
Let's see where we can go with it, shall we?"

Man, do I ever like that..."this isn't a rehearsal"

Try saying it to yourself a few times and then stop and think for a spell...20 bucks says you immediately think of something that you must do...RIGHT NOW.

And if not, the cheque is in the mail...
